India’s bowling

Sri Lanka has a good battery of pacers and spinners who will ensure world cup for it. Indian bowling is poor and hardly any one is there who can be called a good pace bowler. Same case with spinners. Occasionally they take a wicket conceding too many runs. So it is certain that India will not bring home any cup for next several years. As far bats man are concerned Dhoni, Raina, Kohli, Gambhir are reliable. Sehwag is a permanent cripple who cannot be expected to do any thing more. Yuvraj is a dead mule. So we will also participate in all games of future. Does the Board of control for cricket in India care any thing more than the money the game brings in? Kapil dev was aiming to produce world class bowlers from the young cricketers of India. IPL has spoiled the whole game and now the bowling has gone to dogs. Only BCCI has to take the blame for India’ s failure.

This is how they loot you

I wanted to terminate my State bank credit card. But thy wanted annual fee to be paid before termination. Annual fee is charged in advance so why I have to pay the annual fee for termination. In any case I did not want to fight with the bank so dropped a cheque for Rs 800/ n the drop box. There was no response and no intimation. After a month I got another bill claiming that my cheque has become invalid and hence a penalty of R$s400/- was added to the original 800/-. I wanted to know the reason for invalidation and they told me that I have forgot to put the date on the cheque. All right this should have been intimated to me and either to put the date or issue a fresh cheque. No it is not the responsibility of the bank when it can squeeze some more money out of me on some pretext. Now I have dropped another cheque and await for further looting by the bank. I was told that the procedure followed is as per instructions of trhe reserve bank of India. Funniest of all thing is this is supposed to be a leading Public sector bank doing great service to its customers.

A request to metrological department of Bombay

Please do not give any forecast on Monsoon. The moment you give a forecast the exact opposite thing happens. You had forecasted heavy rain in Mumbai on 11th and 12th. Contrary to this these two days have proved to be most sultry with subdued heat causing much sweating. So also was your warning on cyclone. It did not come any where near to Bombay and even in Gujrat the effect was only some showers. My belief is if you keep your mouth shut then monsoon will come in and we will have good showers. In any case you do not help the affected people much during any crisis except give warnings.
This is one good thing. When you say that the rains will continue for another 7 days t stops immediately and people get relief.
