Stampede at New Delhi Railway Station

In most important stations of India changing the platform number of arriving train often causes much difficulty to passengers and which the Railway administrations do not care to rectify. I have my self suffered by this very badly. There must lakh’s of people who undergo this harrowing experience on many days yet the railway administration does not care. Today this has resulted in the death and injuries to many yet there will be no action from railway side. The railway minister may casually announce compensation to victims which seldom gets paid. Many times the change of platform is not announced and people keep waiting on wrong platform without having any inkling of the train’s arrival. This is atrocious but that is the way the UPA government functions.
