Compensation to Sonwanes family

The chief minister of Maharashtra announced Rs 25 lakh compensation to the family of SDM Sonwane who was burnt alive by petrol Mafia. The media which has announced the Compensation should also see that it is actually paid. The lecher of income tax will swallow half o that as tax on income where by the family may ultimately get one or two lakhs as compensation. Why not the media pursue the cas and show to people when and how much actually reached the sufferers.
