The Indian Express

I am a fan of Indian express which fought the Emergency but now I am disappointed because the paper is now subtly canvassing for the Government. It speaks of elected representatives when the prime minister himself is a back door entry candidate who never faced an open Election
Can the Express publish the data of the percentage of total voters to votes polled by the candidates in power today?
Most of them have gone to Parliamnt o 10 to 15 % votes as the rest did not win even that percentage. It is therefore clear that the ministers of the government are not true representatives of the people
The paper is probably not aware that a deputy sarpanch of Beed district who is a neta of NCP threatening people with a gun and coercing them to sign documents and siphoning funds allotted under mahatma gandi rural development scheme.
Will such people be ever punishe by todays Government which the paper boasts as people representative?
Mr Shekhar gupta Padma sri and padma vibhushan are not conferred on deserving candidates
