One more shameful scam has emerged. Yes the Mumbai customs not releasing the original trophy of the world cup for presentation ceremony. It is reported that customs wanted more than 200 complimentary passes for releasing the trophy.
Logically speaking no duty is chargeable on the original trophy because it is not an import. Its only a display item. So it must be true that the customs tried to black mail the BCCI.
The president of India and the chairmen of ICC attended the prize distribution ceremony. What action will the Government take on the corrupt customs commissioner for insulting the Nation?
